Hobson Cup

UBTC have been running the 'Hobson Cup' since 2019 and is in memoriam of UBTC member, Jack Hobson, who sadly passed away after graduating.

Jack loved tennis and was a great friend to many people in the club, so we are commemorating his life and passion for the sport by holding a face-off between past and present members. In memory of Jack, we have named the event "The Hobson Cup".

Events

Over the last 4 years the Hobson Cup has welcomed back over 100 students to compete in tennis, football and netball. Combining fun, competitive sport with a good social or two!

As well as raising money for the club, many students have raised money and awareness for charities such as CALM
